*Rounding Off :-

Look At The Following Sentences:-

  1. Approximately, 10,000 people were killed due to A Disease And More Than 1,00,000 People were Sick.
  2. There Are Approximately 50,000 spectators present in Stadium Watching Cricket.
Here, Approximately means that the Number Of People were near about these numbers. Approximately 10,000 means The Number Of People Died IS More Than 9,000 And Less Than 11,000 means the number lies between 9000-11,000. And It is Just As ROUND OFF.


 

* Estimating Round off To the Nearest Tens :-

For Example 18 Is Near To 10 Or 20. Answer Is 20. It Means 18 Is Rounded Off To 20. Taking Some Examples:-

* 27 = 30

*1464 = 1460

 * Estimating Round off To the Nearest Hundred :-

For Example 180 Is Near To 100 Or 200. Answer Is 200. It Means 180 Is Rounded Off To 200. Taking Some Examples:-

*9636 = 9600

*274 = 300

 * Estimating Round off To the Nearest Thousands :-

For Example 180 Is Near To 100 Or 200. Answer Is 200. It Means 180 Is Rounded Off To 200. Taking Some Examples:-

*2888 = 3000

*15677 = 16000

AND So On
